Preparations underway for the 10th Annual Champagne Ball
The 2015 Champagne Ball and Awards Evening
to be held on November 20, 2015 marks the 10th annual event hosted by the Chubu Chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ)
and Tokai Japan Canada Society (TJCS)

Never straying far from its concept of a high-class evening, the Ball has seen the adoption of special themes in recent years. The themes have added an extra level of fun to this already exciting evening and has prompted many ball goers to come clad in theme inspired attire. However, for the 2015 Ball, we decided to focus on the 10th anniversary and concentrate on celebrating the milestone with a focus on quality, quantity and class.
Just some of the things we are working on include:
- a cocktail hour featuring live entertainment, hors d'ovres and bubbly
- a later start time
- live dinner music
- improved food selection
- drinks included for everyone the entire evening*
- live dance band
- great after party at the Hilton's Kiwami lounge*
- lots of great raffle prizes

A Country & Western Hoedown. Get ready for a rooting tooting night of networking with cowboys, cowgirls, hooting, hollering, line dancing, and good old meishi slinging!
The joint planning committee has typically consisted of a handful of leaders from the two organizations. But this is a community event open to anyone within and/or interested in the international community here in Nagoya. As such, we would like to invite members of that community to get involved in the planning.

We're still feeling the excitement that Elvis brought us with the 2018 Champagne Ball. And, we wanted to keep the energy with another fun theme for 2019. We also recall how much fun we had at our very first themed Ball, in 2011, with a nostalgic trip back to the 1970's. So, we are excited to announce that for the 2019 Champagne Ball and Awards Evening , we are going Back to the Eighties !
