The ACCJ and TJCS
Established in 1948 by representative of 40 American firms, the ACCJ has grown into one of the most influential business organizations in Japan, with more than 3,000 individual members representing more than forty countries and 1,400 companies. The ACCJ promotes commerce between the United States and Japan, supports measures that that benefit and protect the interest of member companies, and presents a variety of programs that keep ACCJ members abreast of current business practices and trends. The ACCJ is the center of international business in Japan, bringing globally minded business and professionals together.
Similar to the ACCJ, the TJCS(Tokai Japan Canada Society) has a mandate to strengthen ties between the Tokai region of Japan and Canada through business, social and cultural events.
Both organizations strive to create a sense of community among all foreigner nationals and internationally-minded Japanese in the region. The Champagne Ball is a celebration of this community and its contributions to the Chubu region
