2023 Champagne Ball Planning Committee
Seeking Community Input for a Bigger and Better Event!
The Champagne Ball & Awards Evening is a collaboration between the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) Chubu Chapter and the Tokai Japan Canada Society (TJCS), that has existed since 2006.
The joint planning committee has typically consisted of a handful of leaders from the two organizations. But this is a community event open to anyone within and/or interested in the international community here in Nagoya. As such, we would like to invite members of that community to get involved in the planning.
No Heavy Lifting Required
You're welcome to get involved as deeply as you wish, however any contribution is welcome including:
- your ideas and opinions relating to...
- theme
- entertainment
- food
- activities
- decorations
- etc.
- helping us get the word out to the greater community and getting everyone excited!
- attending the event (of course)
Who?
In the past, we have had great input from a number of expat spouses, however there is no specific "profile" of whom we are looking for. Anyone, foreign or Japanese, within the expat community who would be interested in attending such an event and has ideas and/or just wants to help.
You need not be a member of either organization.
We are now in the early stages of planning and have yet to create a meeting schedule. Please check back for that information.
