Our Story
The roots of the Champagne Ball date back to the mid 1990's when the American Business Community of Nagoya (ABCN) began holding its annual Fall Ball. The tradition continued after the ABCN became the Chubu Chapter of the ACCJ in 2000.
Incorporated in November 2004, the TJCS began celebrating its anniversary with a similar gala event, also in November.
Rather than compete for attendees in a community with a lot of cross-over and, indeed, cooperation, the solution was a no-brainer.
In 2006, the ACCJ and TJCS decided to join forces and create one big gala event to celebrate the diverse community that comprises the International Community as well as our Japanese hosts in this country.
Nearly 20 years later, the rest is, well... history!
